Our Approach
What does it mean to be board certified? Dr. Lindsey Webb is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery which is a rigorous process which included six years of training in plastic and reconstructive surgery after four years of medical school. She then passed her comprehensive written and oral board examinations. Achieving and maintaining a board certification status is a significant commitment to continuing education, practice improvement and assessment of knowledge to ensure patients have highly trained and safe surgeons. While physicians may be certified by other boards, the American Board of Plastic Surgery is considered the “gold standard” for plastic surgeon certification. For more information, visit Certification Matters or The American Board of Plastic Surgery.
What are the FACS letters behind the degree? Dr. Webb is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, which ensures that her “training, professional qualifications, surgical competence and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded” by The American College of Surgeons.
ABOUT CERTIFICATION
TUMMY TUCK GALLERY
Reduce signs of aging in face and neck by repositioning and reshaping loose, sagging skin, wrinkles, and jowling, leaving you with a natural, invigorated result. Fat grafting can fill in residual deep lines.
Remove excess stretched out skin and fat from the lower belly and tighten the abdominal wall that is weakened or bulging after pregnancy and weight loss for a flatter, firmer profile. Additionally, a breast lift can reposition the drooping and deflated breast tissue and nipple position higher on the chest wall for a more youthful, tighter appearance with or without implants to add volume .
Liposuction using laser or power-assisted techniques can remove excess fat from troubling areas while also helping tighten the skin. After significant weight loss, the excess skin of the arms, thighs, breast, abdomen and back can be removed to improve the silhouette and fit clothes better.
There are several different flap surgeries available, like the DIEP, which uses state-of-the-art techniques to minimize potential side effects seen with older flap procedures. Patients can have a soft, natural reconstructed breast without the use of implants or sacrificing their abdominal muscles.
